Working Homes Preferred

At Aytee we always give preference to working homes and would want prospective owners to be a member of an organisation or club, ideally involved in scent work for DoC, or Search and Rescue work or, more usually, hunting game birds & deer for the gun or competing in Field Trials and training, as our dogs are fantastic retrievers and swimmers as well as passionate hunters.

GSPs are happiest and most settled when given the chance to work and think that it gives owners a proper chance of enjoying their GSP to the full, and for the dog to have a fulfilled life.

Aytee breed genuine working dogs. They have soft mouths, they swim well, they have great game finding ability and importantly they are carefully bred from showing as well as working lines. We believe that good conformation = soundness in work, proven by our show and field trial champions. We always health test both Dam and Sire before breeding, to ensure they have good results and we always work our dogs before breeding to prove that they have the ability and level temperament that is needed.

Aytee puppies are sold at 8 weeks, registered, micro-chipped and insured.
